DELO DUALBOND GE4918 makes the production process fast, easy and safe. This one-component product is easy to dispense, has good flow, and can set in between 10 and 20 seconds under high-intensity UV light. In shaded areas that are not exposed to light, the second cure mechanism allows the adhesive to fully cure under the action of moisture. Immediately after UV fixation, in situ strength testing can be performed.
The new sealant has silicone-like properties but eliminates the need for automotive suppliers to take special precautions for silicones during production. Silicone resins often contaminate other processes due to outgassing, especially paint or coating processes.
